Use this test for active ports displayed on the Device Details
Monitor page for Switch Engine switch

Navigate to .

Select the device host name.
The Device Details Monitor page
displays.

Scroll down to the port status graphic.

Select an active (green) port.

Scroll down to the Actions section.

Select Run Cable Test.

Select OK to proceed with the test.
Note
This test might temporarily interfere with port traffic.

If the test failed, checked the physical cable connected to the device.
